Before winter arrives in Panyola and the last sunny days are over, we gather the pears and heat up the wooden drying furnace. The fruit selected by hand is put onto braided willow branch baskets and dried in a day’s time. As the steam is getting released from the fruit, the fruit sugar will cover up the slices of pear. Eventually we sell it in jars fully filled with honey.
