In the area that makes grape ripe and become wine, the land is favourable to apricot as well.
The apricot from Mád is sunny yellow and juicy. We dry it in mid-summer. The fruit is carefully selected by hand and then de-seeded. We heat up the wooden furnace and drying is completed in a day’s time. The sweet and a bit soury taste of the apricot remains in the fruit the whole year.
About 20 grams of dried apricots are made from 100 grams of apricots.
The product don't contain sulfur dioxide, added sugar or preservatives.
