In Panyola people say farewell to the harvest season with apples. We gather this fruit under the last sunshine heat of the season and we heat up the wooden drying furnace. The fruit is being manually selected and put onto willow branch braided trays to be dried in a day’s time. Those days the air is filled with a nice steam of apple in our yards.
About 20 grams of dry apples can be produced from 100 grams of raw apples.
Our natural dryings don't contain any sulfur-dioxide added sugar or additives.
